TOUCHLINE PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: 19 July 2026
This policy explains what data Touchline handles, where it goes, and
what stays on your phone ("we", "us" means the operator of Touchline).
The short version: there are no accounts, your
training history lives on your phone, and the only thing that leaves
your phone is the clip you ask the coach to review, plus the minimum
needed to run billing and abuse limits.
- NO ACCOUNTS
Touchline has no sign-up and no login. We do not collect your email
address, phone number, or contacts. The name you type during setup is
used to address you inside the app and is stored only on your phone.
- WHAT STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Your profile answers (level, strong foot, goals, schedule), your
reviews and scores, your training plans, your streak, and your
challenge results are stored locally on your device. They are not
uploaded to us. Deleting the app, or using "Erase all data" in the
app, permanently deletes them.
- WHERE YOUR VIDEO GOES
When you ask for a review, the clip you just recorded is sent over an
encrypted connection to our review service, which runs on Cloudflare
Workers (Cloudflare, Inc.). Our service passes the clip to Google's
Gemini API (Google LLC), the AI service that watches the clip and
writes your review. The written review is returned to your phone and
stored there.
We do not keep a copy of your clip after the review is generated, and
we do not use your clips to build an advertising profile or to train
our own models. The clip is processed by Cloudflare and Google as our
service providers; their processing is governed by their own terms
(Cloudflare's privacy policy and Google's Gemini API terms). Depending
on where you are, this processing may happen on servers outside your
country.
If you never request a review, no video ever leaves your phone.
- THE ANONYMOUS DEVICE IDENTIFIER
To keep the review service fair, we enforce a daily limit on reviews
per device. For this, the app generates a random identifier that is not
linked to your name or any account. It is sent with review requests and
stored with a request count. It identifies a device's usage volume,
not who you are.
- PAYMENTS
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store, so your payment
details are handled by Apple, not by us. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to
validate subscriptions; RevenueCat receives purchase receipt data and
an anonymous app-generated identifier, not your name or payment
details.
- NOTIFICATIONS
The daily training reminder is a local notification scheduled on your
phone. It involves no server and can be turned off in your system
settings at any time.
- WHAT WE DO NOT DO
We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising. We do
not track you across other apps or websites.
- YOUR RIGHTS
Because your training data lives on your phone, you can export it (in
the app: Profile, then Export your data) or erase it (Profile, then
Erase all data) at any time without asking us. Depending on your
country, you may have additional legal rights over data processed by
our service providers; contact us and we will help.
- CHILDREN
Touchline is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
process their data.
- CHANGES
If we change how data is handled, we will update this policy and
surface the change in the app before it takes effect.

TOUCHLINE TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective date: 19 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Touchline
("we", "us") for the use of the Touchline app. By using the app you agree
to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
- WHAT TOUCHLINE IS
Touchline is an AI football training aid. You record short clips of
yourself training, and automated software reviews the clip, scores your
technique, and suggests drills. The reviewing "coach" is an artificial
intelligence system, not a human being.
- THE COACHING IS AUTOMATED AND CAN BE WRONG
Reviews, scores, and drills are generated by an AI model from a short
video clip. They are estimates, not professional coaching, medical,
or fitness advice. The AI can misread a clip, miss a fault, or invent
an imperfect suggestion. Use your own judgment before acting on any
feedback. If you have a medical condition or an injury, talk to a
qualified professional before training.
